The Society of Will Writers Professional Standards Board (PSB) was implemented in December 2016 to replace the SWW’s Executive Council. Following a review in 2019, the board was restructured, bringing in a new chair and ethos.
The PSB was initially brought in to raise standards across the membership and to support the Society’s work in strengthening self-regulation. The role of the PSB is to continue the work of the Executive Council by acting as a sounding board and advisory board for the Society.
The Professional Standards Board is becoming much more independent of the Society of Will Writers, in order to broaden its’ role in the Regulation of Professional Will Writers.
